At Monumental Cycling Works, we build wheels we trust — and we stand behind every one of them. If something ever goes wrong, we want getting you back on the road to be as easy and painless as possible. Here’s how our warranty and replacement program works.

Warranty & Replacement Policy

All wheelsets purchased from Monumental Cycling Works or an MCW-approved vendor are covered under our rim warranty and refurbish program. If you experience a wheel failure, we offer three resolution paths so you can choose what works best for your situation.

Option 1 — Immediate Swap (Demo Stock)

Need to get back on the road right away? We’ll swap your broken wheel for one from our demo stock so you can keep riding. You pay $260 and ride away the same day, and the replacement wheel carries the full MCW warranty.

Option 2 — Full Refurbish

If you’d rather have your original wheel restored, we’ll lovingly rebuild it with a brand-new rim and fresh hub bearings. We’ll return your refurbished wheel to you for $260, and it carries the full MCW warranty.

Option 3 — Rim-Only Replacement

When you need an immediate replacement and no demo stock is available, we can swap your damaged rim for a new rim on the spot at no charge. MCW keeps the broken rim. Please note that rim-only replacements do not carry a warranty.
